Abdulaziz possesses 20 years of experience of active legal practice in Zanzibar. He advises clients across many industries making him a “one-stop-shop” for many clients.

He represents clients both domestically and internationally on different issues such as Company Law, Banking and Finance including establishment of international representatives and branch offices of foreign private banks, private financial institutions and private companies through compliance of Zanzibar’s municipal laws, Employment, Tax, Insurance, and Real Estate. He has substantial experience of transactions and projects in these areas.

Abdulaziz has also been at the centre of advising several local and international banks and borrowers on loan facilities and other types of securitizations. He has also handled numerous consortium arrangements in corporate law and has been responsible for advising numerous investors, retailers and service providers on various high-profile transactions on what are the laws regarding investment of projects in Zanzibar and advice for the compliance of the investment laws and policies in Zanzibar.
