David is an accomplished banking and finance attorney. His practice which spans over 13 years covers the entire spectrum of the legal and regulatory issues (compliance) with a focus on the financial sector. He advises clients on various matters pertaining to corporate and investment banking, retail and business banking products including: lending and securitization, project finance, international trade,  fintech, cryptocurrencies, recoveries, transaction structuring and optimisation. He is so versed in financial market regulations,  corporate governance, outsourcing law and sustainability requirements. He is an agile professional capable of addressing issues critically and within the expected timelines. 

Prior to joining the Firm, David held a senior management role in an international bank where he successfully established the legal department, overseeing the execution of the bank’s legal and corporate governance strategy, managing the affairs of the Board of Directors, recruitment of new directors, facilitating induction of directors and coordinating all Board meetings. His last assignement was a transaction involving the sale of select assets and liabilities of the bank including participating in the due diligence process, advising on the terms of the sale, drafting and follow up on regulatory approvals and implementation of conditions precedent to the transaction.
